Joining Our Team

Are you interested in becoming one of the South Hill Volunteers responsible for safeguarding life, limb, and property in South Hill and its surrounding areas? We invite you to apply today either through our online application or by printing the paper version available at the bottom of this page and submitting it to Station 7 from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. We currently have positions available for Active Membership, Support Membership, and Junior Membership. 

Active Membership
- Lives within 5 miles of Station 7
- Must maintain 30% of call volume

Support Membership
- Certified Firefighter
- Live anywhere as long as you can maintain 15% of the call volume

Junior Membership
- Ages 16-18 Non-Certified or Certified
